In 1982, an unknown suspect laced Tylenol packages with potassium cyanide in a Chicago pharmacy. No one was ever charged with the deaths, and the lead suspect died in 2023 after serving time in prison for trying to extort $1 million from a manufacturer to "stop the killing."
