Antimatter can be created from dark lightning—high-energy light emitted by deflected electrons after they are accelerated to near the speed of light by thunderstorms.

Additional insights we found via NASA Goddard
After a lightning strike, the sudden shift in a thunderstorm's electric field can accelerate free electrons toward overhead atoms at near-light speed, where they are deflected and lose energy by emitting a burst of gamma rays, known as a terrestrial gamma-ray flash.
When light from a terrestrial gamma-ray flash passes near another atom, it undergoes pair production, creating an electron-positron pair that is deflected by Earth's magnetic field.
Observations from NASA's Fermi Gamma-ray Space Telescope inferred the production of antimatter from terrestrial gamma-ray flashes by detecting the light created when these antimatter particles struck electrons in its detector.
