For example, a company like Gap typically produces around 12,000 different clothing styles per year. Older fast fashion brands like Zara produce roughly 40,000 different styles. Shein, however, produces about 1.5 million styles per year.

Only 1% of major fashion brands disclose the number of workers being paid a living wage.
Shein made roughly $30B in annual revenue in 2023.
