Additional insights we found via toldinstone

  1. Entry to the Colosseum for events was free but tightly controlled.

  2. Spectators presented tesserae, sat strictly by class, and risked losing their seats if they left for lunch.

  3. Senators generally received the best seats, while women and slaves sat further away from the action.
