Rainbows are produced from the bending and spreading of the colors that make up otherwise white starlight at different angles within raindrops, which then reflect back to an observer in several colorful arcs, though the primary and secondary bows are the most visible.
For a planet to orbit around two stars in a stable way, it must be positioned so that the stars are no more than 18° away from one another in the sky, making it impossible for each star's rainbow to avoid overlapping with the other, since rainbows span 84° in diameter.
