While the band was active, they released 13 LPs in Europe, but 20 in the US, mostly because the Beatles' multiple American labels were looking to cash in on Beatlemania by packaging preexisting singles and covers with new tracks.
Some albums (like "Rubber Soul") were released in both places, but featured different track listings.
Today, the band's British releases are considered their canonical discography.
