  2. In 2026, Artemis II launched a four-person crew into a flyby of the moon via the Orion spacecraft and the SLS.

  3. As of 2026, Artemis III is planned for 2027 and will involve a four-astronaut crew in low Earth orbit, testing the Human Landing System spacecraft.

  4. As of 2026, Artemis IV is planned for 2028 and will see astronauts land on the moon for the first time since Apollo 17 in 1972.

  5. As of 2026, Artemis IV is also scheduled to launch in 2028 with a four-person crew, which will start construction of a permanent lunar base.
